Course Overview
There are a number of ways CMV drivers can injure themselves while on the job. Working with flatbed trailers puts them at an even greater risk of injury due to the dangers associated with the trailer, securement devices, and the cargo itself.
Upon successful completion of this course, learners will be able to:
- Recognize safety precautions to take while working around flatbed trailers
- Explain how to safely load, secure, and unload cargo from a flatbed
