Course Overview
Part of a properly functioning occupation health and safety program requires the identification of existing and potential risks to the health or safety of workers, and what measures to take to reduce, eliminate or control those risks. This must also include procedures to respond to an emergency. A Job Safety Analysis can fulfill some of those needs.
A Job Safety Analysis (JSA), also known as a Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) is a systematic approach to prioritize and select jobs or job tasks, identify its hazards or potential hazards and integrate precautions to reduce risk.
Learn as the new Safety Manager guides her General Manager through the process of how to conduct a Job Safety Analysis (JSA) or (JHA). A cast of comical characters demonstrate how JSAs can reduce incidents and help in the development of safety documents such as procedures, inspections, and orientations along with other safety processes.
