Developed with input from a cross-sector of industries, Locate Management's new online Safe Excavation 0.25 days (up to 2 hours) course is aimed at developing safe excavation skills and attitudes. This e-learning course explains how to excavate safely as part of the ground disturbance process. It discusses soil factors, sloping, benching, scaling and trimming, temporary protective structures and alternatives, worker access, and temporary crossing ramps the necessary process to plan and safely excavate as per applicable regulatory federal and provincial/state requirements, acts and industry best practices.

All individuals, including supervisors, ground disturbers, excavators, project managers, and workers, who need specific ground disturbance training with respect to soil factors, sloping, benching, scaling and trimming, temporary protective structures and alternatives, shoring, shielding, worker access, and temporary crossing ramps.
