InspiredLearning

No matter how good online training content is, if learners are not kept engaged it is extremely likely that their attention will be lost. This is where learning activities come in. Learning activities are great tools for refocusing learners, testing their recall, and providing them with an opportunity to apply the information they have learned. Many different types of learning activities exist including gamification, simulations, and examinations. The types of learning activities that you should include in your course depend upon the course audience, the material being taught, and the course length. Based on our experience it’s important to include a learning interaction every 5-10 minutes. Just ensure that each interaction reinforces and is relevant to the information covered.
