Course Overview
Sometimes while working on a job, a ladder just will not cut it. This is where aerial (also known as articulating boom/bucket lifts) and scissor lifts come in. Working safely with this last category will be the focus of this course. This online aerial lift training course will teach you how to prepare for hazards surrounding aerial and scissor lifts by teaching proper inspection techniques. By taking this scissor lift safety course you can learn to protect yourself and others from common hazards associated with this type of equipment.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Identify different types of mobile equipment to use when your work is out of reach
- Explain the importance of lift and site inspection before use
- Recognize causes of falls from mobile equipment
- Describe precautions to help prevent falls, tip-over and catapulting
- Identify hazards such as contact with power lines or other moving equipment
This course takes approximately 30 minutes to complete
A passing grade of 80% or higher required. Up to 3 attempts are provided.
A certificate will be provided upon the successful completion of this course.
