Course Overview
The National Safety Code (NSC) was created by the Canadian Council of Motor Transport Administrators in an effort to increase the uniformity of each Canadian province and territory, regulations as they apply to motor carriers and drivers. This course is intended as an overview to cover the basics of the NSC and its 16 standards.
Course Topics
- The roles and responsibilities of the Canadian Council of Motor Transport Administrators as they relate to the NSC
- The definitions of carriers and commercial vehicles
- The basic information contained in each of the NSC, 16 standards
This course takes approximately 30 minutes to complete
A passing grade of 80% or higher required. Up to 3 attempts are provided.
A certificate will be provided upon the successful completion of this course.
