Course Overview
The Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) places controls on the management of hazardous waste from its generation to its ultimate disposal. This course provides you with important information on RCRA, hazardous waste and your role in staying safe if your facility or organization produces, disposes or stores hazardous waste.
Whenever you generate hazardous waste and accumulate it on-site, you must take the necessary precautions and steps to prevent any sudden or accidental release into the environment. This course explores the actions you must take to carefully operate and maintain your facility and therefore reduce the possibility of fire, explosion and release of hazardous waste.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Define the purpose of RCRA

A passing grade of 80% or higher required. Up to 3 attempts are provided.
A certificate will be provided upon the successful completion of this course.
